FAQs to help our families:
When does school start?
The 1st day of school is August 13, 2025.
What are the school hours?
The school hours are 8:55am - 4:05pm. The building will not be open until 8:30am.
When are schedules released?
All schedules are available in the Home Access Center.
Physical textbooks?
All of our books are online. Additionally, they are used as a resource intermittently along with several other source materials. If there are questions about needing textbooks, please contact our textbook clerk, Whitney Walhof. The majority of the time, the online textbook is plenty adequate!
Bus Information
Annual Student Update (formerly paper enrollment forms)
ALL parents of returning KISD students need to submit the required Annual Student Update for the upcoming school year PowerSchool Enrollment. Newly enrolled students do not need to complete this as it was captured during enrollment. This week, parents and guardians who have an email address on file with the District will receive a unique SnapCode for each of their enrolled students. Parents and guardians who have not provided an email address will receive their SnapCode by US postal mail. If you do not receive a SnapCode or you are having issues with PowerSchool Enrollment, please contact your child's campus or submit a Help Desk ticket and a Technology staff member will contact you within 24 business hours. Please note that all 6th grade students must provide proof of residency (utility bill, lease contract).
