Accessing STAAR Scores

Families will be able to access detailed information about their child’s areas of strength, as well as any gaps in learning, by reviewing STAAR, STAAR EOC, and TELPAS results.  Parents can access assessment results through the state’s Family Portal by logging into MyKatyCloud and selecting Home Access Center (HAC).

Please refer to the Department of Research, Assessment, and Accountability website for the Directions for Automatic Access to State Testing Results Using MyKatyCloud document in English or Spanish

Test results will be available in the Family Portal by the end of day listed in the chart.

Credit By Exam (CBE)

If you are interested in taking a CBE, please discuss the proper course of action with your child's counselor. Applications for CBE testing can be picked up in the Counseling Office, or a digital copy can be downloaded by clicking the link below. Once the form is approved and submitted, the student will receive a confirmation letter with the date, time and location of the CBE test.

Katy ISD District Learning Assessments (DLAs)

DLAs are common formative assessments designed to gather evidence of student learning. As part of a balanced program, DLAs are not intended to be the sole assessment instrument in determining student learning. Rather, they provide teachers and students with diagnostic information to help guide the learning process.

Additional information about the DLAs can be found in the District Learning Assessment FAQs and in the District Learning Assessment Guidelines.

The secondary DLA administration calendar. For more specific administration dates, please contact your child's teacher(s).
